A Big Beautiful Noise: Lyons Community Choir is an ALL VOICES community choir. We’ll gather in the tradition of community building through song as we explore harmonies, rounds, rhythms, and songs from around the world.  In each class we will anchor our voices through self awareness, posture and breathwork, expand our repertoire, practice balanced singing technique, and learn musical expression tools.  Our mission is to empower people (even those who don't identify as musicians or singers) to embrace song as part of their daily routine and reality. We wish to support the reclaiming of music making and singing together in families and communities as a way of restoring harmony, health and wellbeing in our culture. A Big Beautiful Noise will be co-facilitated by Ashley Johson and Allie Tyler.

If you would like to join, please commit to not missing more than 3-4 rehearsals for each seasonal session (Fall & Winter).

Winter Sessions (now available in smaller increments)

Full 20 Week Session: January 9 thru June 1st with 2 performance opportunities at the Mayama Showcase in the Wildflower Pavilion on March 9th & at the Mayama Annual Performance on June 1st at the Lyons Middle/Senior Auditorium, investment in this 20 week session is $600. Choir meets every Tuesday evening 6:30-8:00pm (Spring Break week is OFF).

Winter 9 Week Session January 9 thru March 5 with a performance at the Mayama Showcase in the Wildflower Pavilion, investment is $270. Choir meets every Tuesday evening 6:30-8:00pm.

Spring 11 Week Session March 19 - May 28th with a performance opportunity at the Mayama Annual Performance on June 1st at the Lyons Middle/Senior Auditorium, investment in this session is $330. Choir meets every Tuesday evening 6:30-8:00pm (Spring Break week is OFF).

There is an option of a 4 week trial to give yourself an opportunity to "try" the choir out for 4 weeks. Select drop in for this option. If you choose to continue, we will apply the 4 week trial to the total.
